My approach to editing is to help writers speak with their own unique voice, to use words with precision and intention, and to pierce the clouds of vague language to increase their writing’s impact. I’ve worked with individuals at all skill levels—including beginner-level university students, accomplished published authors, and technical product marketers. As a style editor working with non-writers, my approach is to educate and get buy-in on style consistency and brand voice. I’m skilled at delivering solution-focused feedback that improves first drafts and empowers the creation of better drafts for the future.
